General Presentation



   S.C. Camexip S.A. is a Romanian firm, in Prahova district, placed in Baicoi town, near the city of Ploiesti. The company was established as legal person on January the 1st, 1978, being component of a national holding, belonging to the Chemical Industry Minister and intended to provide specific equipment for rubber and plastics domain.
The initial name was "Intreprinderea de Utilaje pentru Prelucrarea Cauciucului" - Rubber Processing Equipment Company, abbreviated I.U,P.C., but in time, the evolution of our society has shown the diversity of its products and markets. In 1991 the company was transformed in a punblic share incorporated company, with a new name - the actual CAMEXIP S.A. In 1997 it was concluded the privatization process.

   The factory was built as a mono-block hall, in which the whole technological manufacturing process takes place and activity is organized on different groups of tools gradually placed in accordance with technological demands.

   The manufacturing program of CAMEXIP is structured on processing lines, equipment and spare parts for many economic branches: chemical and petrochemical industry, plastics, tyre and rubber products, oilfield, oil extraction, cellulose, paper, building materials, hydraulic and power systems, steel metalurgy, corrosion protection and heat treatment, medicine and food processing, transportation, storage, environment.



   We have also qualified and experienced personnel for manufacturing of metal buildings, welded frames metallic furniture. The structures are provided in different configurantions and great complexity for industrial infrastructures, firm centers and other econimic objectives attested by MLPAT. In addition to complete manufacturing, our offer contain also repairs for a large range of equipments. The strategy applied until now, could be sumarized as a diversification of CAMEXIP's activities and icreasing of its patrimony.

   In this manner Camexip is today involved in: engineering, manufacturing of the equipments for the domains enonciated, overhauling, service, technical assistance as well as industrial projects.

   As regarding the implementation of the develpment program and of the revenue expenses budget it is worth mentioning the positive aspect of exceeding the export program.
Over the years we have established strong business relations with firms from: Canada, USA, Germany, Italy, Great Britain. In the last few years, the exportation level increased 60% of our total production.

   The quality system has been certified by ABS QE Inc. Huston - Texas, in accordance with the quality assurance SR EN ISO 9002.

   Also we have ISCIR license to perform pressure vessels, elevating installations. Our factory responds to requirements for all types of metallurgy in compliance with European, American, or others specific standards: carbon steels, alloy steels, low alloy steels, corrosion resistent steels, high alloy steels (Incoloy, Hastelloy, Inconel), stainless steels, copper aluminium alloy, Monel metal. For receipt of raw materials to production and shipment of finished products, strict control methods are applied by qualified personnel including: destructive tests for mechanical tests, non-destructive tests, chemical analyses (spectrographic).
